I would like to buy a new gaming monitor for a decent price, any advice?

I want something somewhat big with high resolution and a 2ms response time... for under 230 dollars(that supports windows 7). The ones I've been looking at all have some kind of cheap problem, like a bad stand, dead pixels, or no windows 7 support. Any suggestions?

Answer
Windows 7 Support? All monitors support Windows 7.

Asus makes the best gaming monitors and followed by Samsung. They have low dead pixel counts (usually zero) and great pixel pitch with typically 1000:1 static Contrast. Buy a Zero Dead Pixel warranty - it is usually $10-15

What is the difference between a GTG Response time, and a regular one?

I am looking at buying this monitor:

I am going to use this for gaming, and I would like to know what a 2ms (GTG) response time is. I know that the smaller the response time, the better, but I need to know what the GTG means, versus a monitor which just says 2ms response time.

Answer
I'm not 100% sure but I believe GTG is the gray to gray response time whilst other have different response times. So if a monitor is advertised with 5ms gtg it may have a higher practical response time. I think GTG is typically faster although I'm not sure what practical difference their is.
