Budget PC that fits my needs ?

Q. I have 770 dollars which I can spend on a Computer which I would like.

I wanted a computer that has a lot off ram, since I want to run a server on it. But in the mean while I would also like to play games such as Left 4 Dead 2 on medium without frame lag. So a fast multi tasking PC, would definitley work, although I don't know a lot about computers.

Anyone have an idea ?

Answer
Hi

Well, this article will help you :-

For budget of 770$, you can go for :-

AMD Phenom x4 1090T
ATI 6870
4GB DDR3 RAM
19" monitor.

With the above specs, you can run games like Left 4 Dead 2 in highest settings and also all other games without lag, as it has 4GB RAM and 6 core processors, multi-tasking will also be very good and fast.

Enjoy :)

My Video Card Gt220 Reaches 105 Degrees?

Hi
i have been experiencing this problem the last few weeks, like id be playing a game and suddenly BOOM.
You are now Entering Power Save Mode.
my whole monitor would go black and there is nothing to do besides physically turn my computer off and turn it back on..
I got a suggestion to download GPU-Z and my graphics card is
Nvidia Geforce GT220.
I uploaded the latest drives (29th June 2011) and i started playing world of warcraft today to test it out, before it shut off i got a .gif file id imageshack but since its .gif and quickplayer wants me to buy their program so i could save to a jpeg but forget it. I also saved it as a log (notepad) and from what i could see:

2011-06-30 20:51:52 - GPU Temperature 67
2 minutes later, while loading World of Warcraft
2011-06-30 20:53:56 - GPU Temperature 99
2 mins later after im in the game
2011-06-30 20:53:58 - GPU Temperature 106

Now im going to PCWorld tomorrow, im using a Intel 2 Quad Core Q8300 2.5GHz processor with a 350W PSU Power Supply Unit and i could only spend up to £50 since im going on holiday..

What is better to buy,
a new graphics card or a 500w+ PSU ? otherwise i have no clue besides that on how to fix it.. cant even play games

Thank you in advanced!!

Answer
350W is awfully small for a gaming system. Go for the new power supply. Get a 650W rather than a 500W.
