I'm kind of confused by motherboards in general. They range from $50 to $300+. What is so great that makes them over $300. Would a $50 one do for a budget gaming computer?
Answer
The components in the >$300 motherboards are obviously of higher quality and most gaming/high end motherboard include many more features that cheap ones such as one touch o.c, more power delivery stages, etc. While a motherboard doesn't affect the computer that much, I still suggest a mobo that costs at least $100 even if you're on a budget.
Here are a few:
Intel 1155 Z77:

AMD AM3/AM3+:

These are Australian prices, if you live in another country, they will probably be cheaper because we have a retarded technology tax.

Answer
are you just looking at cases right now? Both of the cases that you mentioned come with a psu, I would find the parts that you plan to use inside the computer, such as motherboard, gpu, cpu and such before buying one of these cases as you will not know what wattage you need to run it unless you have your components picked out. If you buy the psu now your limited on your choices unless you scrap it or something. If you need any help finding parts for the computer be sure to message me, ill be happy to help.
Good luck
