Will this be a decent mac setup for music/gaming?

I am looking to get a mac to record music, some gaming.

Spec's
27' iMac
2.93GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
1TB Serial ATA Drive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
ATI Radeon HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 SDRAM
Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) & User's Guide
Apple Mouse

Software Pre-installed:
Logic Express 9
Microsoft Office Mac 2011 - Home and Student Edition

The mac comes out to $2,600.00 and the recording gear comes out to about $600.

Audio-Technica ATH-M45 Studio Monitor Headphones
M-Audio M-Audio Studio Pro 3 Monitors / MXL 990/991 Mic Package
Behringer XENYX X1222USB USB Mixer with Effects

Plus cables/etc.

I'd be using it for small acoustic recording sessions.

A PC with the same specs would cost around 500-600 bucks. you should look at a PC unless you REALLY need a MAC. $2600 to spend on a PC would get you a HELL of a lot.
for example hexa-core processor, SLI graphics, large amounts of RAM like 12-16GB of atleast 1600MHz
an SSD or 2, A LOT more than one terabyte of HDD storage and a 30 Inch monitor.
if its the software you want from the MAC then you can buy that individually and install it on a much better computer.

Only get the MAC if you really WANT it, like A LOT!

Does anyone know the listen and win codes for KNIX, KOOL, KTAR, MIX and AZ FAMILY for 10-19-2011?
