If not could you find me a better one for the same sort of price? Thanks
Answer
Gaming is quite simply a no.
A look through the components:
Pentium 4 HT - 3.0Ghz - CPU
The processor is a 2005 processor, while gaming is not the most processing intensive activity it does require at a good processor, normally Core Quad or better.
RAM - 4GB
The RAM is average for a desktop computer, I'd recommend 8GB or more if you want it to run games fast without running out of memory.
Hard Drive - 160GB
Okay, the hard drive is pretty small most games take up around 5-10GB of space maybe more or less depending on the game type and year. Some will also be taken up by the OS and other software you want to install.
DVD-RW Drive
Nothing wrong with that.
And a few notes, its running a 32 bit OS meaning you'll only be able to use 3.5GB of the 4GB of RAM.
Adding a 1GB graphics card will boost the graphics, but it won't be able to make up for the slow speed of the processor or the fact that you'll run out of memory if you install a few games.
At the price your looking at most computers won't be able to play games, if your looking to play games your better off looking at new computers in a PC store the ones on eBay at that price are going to be old machines not gaming computers.
