Sam
So I'm going to sell my HP Pavilion G6 Series Windows 7 Laptop for around £300 and I want to get a good gaming computer PC for under £400 - preferably compatible with playing Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Modern Warfare 3. I live in the UK so UK sites and prices will be necessary.
Please help me!
I don't want to buy everything separately. I want to buy the monitor, computer and everything else in one big set and it needs to be under £400.
Replies below please!
Thank you so much everyone :)

Onestly if you are going to build a decent computer for gaming as well as the Monitor and (I assume) Keyboard Mouse, Speakers, Windows....
£400 will not be enough....
I managed to build mine that maxes MW3 and plays BO2 very well for £370 + £30 monitor, I already had Speakers and a keyboard mouse combo. Windows I had from a friend.
This will get you a Decent build (I had many bargains)
Casecom K5-9388 (£32 at ebuyer)
Gigabyte 970A-UD3 (£72)
Phenom II x4 965 (£70) or FX-4170 (£92) or FX 6300 (£110)
2x2GB 1600mhz RAM (~<£30)
HD 4870 (I picked mine up for £40 - ebay)
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w (again I paid £35 new and sealed on ebay, but usually £60)
Sony Optiarc 7280s or IHAS124 ~ DVD R/W drive (£15)
1TB HDD - £55 (ish on ebuyer)
Windows 7 64bit (£70)
Go onto Ebay and search for 19' to 22' Monitors (1600x900, 1680x1050 or 1920x1080) you might be lucky and get one nearby for around £30-40
Taking the Cheapest possible prices of the parts above - £449 <----- but you will be hunting for a bargain.....
My Advice-----
Save up to around £500-600.......you'll thank yourself in the long run

What are some good gaming monitors?

Im Building a pc and want to get a gaming monitor under $300. What do you think of the ASUS VS278Q-P Ultrafast 1ms 27-Inch LED-Lit Monitor or ASUS VG248QE 24-Inch Screen LED-lit Monitor. Any recommendations or suggestions?
Answer
the monitor you list is a VERY good gaming monitor. The 27" that is. You want the as fast a response time and the biggest size you can afford. Asus makes good monitors (and no I'm not affiliated w/them in any way) and you won't go wrong w/that 1st one you listed.
