Help with building a computer?

I want to build a computer for gaming and stuff you know. So i wanted to know what's the best i can get for the price of at most $1000. If you can in your answer put all the details as in the graphics card, the hardrive, the motherboard, monitor, etc. If possible im not sure but if you can link a website where i can browse through different parts for building a computer or maybe a website where you can actually build it on there and then buy the parts and stuff.

I suggest starting with YouTube. There are lots of videos by people with experience that will give you the video-explanation on what to buy if you don't have time to do the research yourself.

As for where to buy the parts, just search around. Copy and paste the part name/model into your favorite online retailer's (Amazon.com, Newegg.com, Tigerdirect.com etc.) search bar and you should be able to buy it.

How do i fix my computer after removing the viruses and cleaning the hard drive?

Ok so my computer had a trojan that infected so many files and i knew this and foolishly let it happen for days, so then during them days i got a few programs to fix the viruses, i ran microsoft security essentials, Bitdifender total security, anti spyware and malware bytes. Now my computer was running so slow it took days for the anti virus programs to run and it said i had like 100+ viruses but now it takes like 5 mins, every program says there is no harm to the computer which is what i want. There is only one problem left now, my computer runs so fast like it did before, it has 8gb ram and a top processor but somehow opening big programs are taking to long and opening a game will either crash or lag like hell, i have tuneup utilities and advanced system optimizer which regularly fix big problems to minor problems but i guess what i'm after is something to repair the computer in the final process now that the viruses and stuff are gone to put it back to running smooth? what would you suggets i use or do?
