Is the ASUS MS226H monitor good for gaming?

I just purchased the ASUS MS226H from Walmart and I'd like an expert to tell me if I made a good choice. I read all the reviews on newegg.com for it and everyone who bought it seemed to like it. I'm used to playing on an old 19" CRT tv from like 2004, no HD or anything like that. I'm a big Call of Duty player and I'd really like to take the game a bit more seriously (I want to make commentaries eventually) so I'm going out of my way to try and get things that I think will help with that.

So I'm asking the experts, did I make a good choice in selecting this monitor? And will I see a noticeable difference from my old 19" CRT?

Are there cheap flat screen monitors out there that,,,,,,,?

Ryan P

Are there any cheap flat screen monitors out there that can be a TV? Simpler, is there a monitor out there that I can play games on, like Xbox 360 and PS2, and have a cable input for TV, and be used for a computer monitor?

Cheap, I mean like under $100 if there is, I can afford up to 130 for it?

Thanks

PS: I am 14 so no rude comments!

Answer
if it has a coax in that would make it a tv...so you looking for a tv not a monitor. 130 is little hard for a new tv. try craigslist or ebay or walmart. as long as the tv has a hdmi port or vga you can use it as a computer monitor
