Im not all that tech savvy but I was wondering how I can get some of the best specs in a gaming computer without having to build one. What are some names I can look for any what stores I can look around in like best buy or pc richards or somehing like that. Im really looking to mod games and play online and stuff, thanks in advance

Most of the familiar name brands mainly market business or multi-media PCs. You would need to install a decent graphics card and upgrade the power supply to turn them to a gaming PC.

If I had no budget I would buy one. They will put together a great gaming computer and test it. They will use hardware that works great together. Why build one if you aren't worried about money.

If you read Maximum PC they do a super build every year just to prove it can be done! however i did notice they spent $25,000.00 one one machine! and Yes all the parts were available to anyone. its not like they used something you couldn't get. It was a nice machine but a bit pricey for my blood! I don't need to play games that bad! You can get a super gamer for under $2500.00

I have been learning about computers recently and i am going to attempt to build my own gaming computer. I was wondering if it is at all possible to build one and keep the cost below $350. If so what are the best available components for that price. (I know its a small amount of money; just curious to se if possible)

It's possible, but if you're expecting that $350 to get you a computer, monitor, and Vista, then think again. I put together a quick system for around $360-$380 or so dollars. It's not top-quality but most games will run fine on high/highest settings and you should get Crysis on medium or so.

If you can raise your budget to $600 or so you'd have a lot more room for higher quality parts. $600 will get you Crysis on high easily, and you won't have to bargain hunt so much.

What motherboard should i get for my gaming computer i am going to build?

I want a motherboard that i will use to build a gaming computer I am going to build i want it to have high performance, slots available for 1 sound card and 2 graphics/video cards and to fit in the NZXT LEXA S LEXS computer case and to fit a socket to hold a core i7 2011 socket, thank you.
Also i need it to hold at least 4 sticks of RAM/memory

The ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Motherboard is very good and looking at what you are putting in this build you can afford it, it's about £250 ($390) or go for an ASUS P9X79 motherboard will suit you for about £200 ($310) Both suit your needs and are very good for gaming, I suggest go with the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme because it is better and also it looks very good too
