Best monitor for Xbox 360 gaming?

Q. Hello i would like to buy a monitor to have in my room connected to my xbox 360 but i don't know which monitor i should choose? i want the best monitor with best video quality and great sound! Is the Dell U2410 IPS monitor good for console gaming? or is the benq XL2410T better? or which monitor can you guys recommend? i can pay up to 750$ for a good console gaming monitor! I play shooting games, but also other games to so i want good fps and good sharpness etc

I´already have a tv and i feel like its better with a monitor in my room + it's more easy to have with me when im traveling.

Buy the benq! this monitor are 3d ready,120hz,2ms response,23.6",the dell monitor don't have all these things.hope that helps:)

I have a 22" Insignia HD monitor and it works amazingly well, i picked it up at Best Buy during black friday last year for a steal, $250, (right now with certain sales you could get ahold of it for $400-$500) and it's still awesome.

It comes guaranteed with a HDMI port, two composite, one component, an s-video, and a VGA port.

It has an awesome picture, and i have yet to experience a problem under heavy usage.

I use it for dual-view applications with my pc, and use it for gaming with my 360 aswell.

How can I switch between a gaming monitor and an HD TV for my Xbox 360 and soon to be Xbox One?

I currently have an Xbox 360 that is connected to an HD PVR through component cables. I would like to know if it's possible to also connect it to an HD monitor through HDMI and run that cable about 10 feet without losing response time and quality. I wanted to set up an HD gaming monitor right next to my computer monitor because these monitors are better for professional gaming because they have such fast response times and your eyes are able to see the entire monitor.

I like to play family games and sports games on the big screen but also like to play FPS games on a monitor. I just don't know if I am able to get an HDMI cable long enough to reach my monitor from where my Xbox is positioned. I don't want to move my Xbox back and forth and I am not able to unplug any cables due to the meer fact that they are hidden behind a furniture set that can't be taken apart. All answers are much appreciated, thanks for your time.

10 feet of HDMI is what i have and it works fine and you can buy them up to 30 feet. and you should just be able to plug into both and play using both screens, if you're not then i suggest cable splitting, just use your primary cable for the fps professional gaming and there still will be minimal lag time. You're family games will suffer a little but barely noticeable too and in reference to the pvr, im not sure how you can hook that up to the monitor as well as the tv at the same time but you might have to sacrifice and only record on one.

I am going off to college and want a gaming monitor for my Xbox on my desk. I do not want anything too expensive ($180 or less preferably) and I do not need anything big (24 inches is fine). I just want to be able to easily hook up my Xbox to play. I also would prefer the ability to hook my Macbook Pro up to it so my roommate and I could watch movies without a DVD player. It would just be nice to see my laptop screen on the monitor. What are some suggestions? Thanks!

At that prize its extremely hard to find for yout preferences . If you want to hook it up in your Xbox you need HDMI port and VGA . Also monitors which are compatible with Macbooks are more expensive than reqular gaming monitors , so this is what i suggest . Hope this helps ;) !
