Notes: do you care what the Case looks like?
what brands you like? (IE asus intel, corsair?)
does it matter or do you just want the darn thing to run these three displays...????

ALSO IMPORTANT. what are the three inputs to the monitors(I NEED THIS ASAP). .... and INTEL OR AMD?

AMD

Final price on newegg. 907.89
SAPPHIRE Active Mini Display Port (M) to Single-Link DVI (F) Cable 100925 Mini DisplayPort to DVI Interface 29.99
sooo I got you at around 937.99 ANY questions

any questions comments or dislikes of products let me know. also 1866 ram is so you can OC the 1090t.... and MB can crossfire at later date... no ssd because of budget.... I5 2500k would be the best = i could pull out with Intel

your welcome but one thing in order to make any 69xx GPU worh with 3 monitors YOU WILL NEED AN "ACTIVE ADAPTER" for the Display port to DVI. I STRESS ACTIVE. or else eyefinity will not work and the third monitor will be blank.

Recommend a good PC gaming monitor?

Jeff B

Can anyone recommend a good PC Gaming monitor for around $150 to $200?

Answer
Those old CRT monitors are surprisingly good for gaming, as they can support higher refresh rates. I'm using an old Dell 19" and it rocks!

HELP PC MONITOR GAMING?!?!?!?

__-__-__

if i want to use that cable to play on my pc monitor does it matter how fast your pc actually is? in other words does the computer tower even matter how fast it is? cuz my pc is rlly slow but i want to play on my monitor would that affect the quality at all????

Answer
the only thing a monitor do that matters is to whether it can display graphic and the resolution it support, the actual processing.. and output of how good, and the detail, how smooth it is, and how many frames per second it can process is happen inside that tower case of yours specifically your graphic card (RAM, and processor does help too but VGA is usually the real deal) so.. hell yes it matter how fast your pc actually is...

What Brad A. says!

! Good Gaming PC and Monitor? !?

XxKingjonX

I see more and more people that are switching from console to PC gaming, I want to too. But, I only have basic general knowledge of computers and i dont think i could build one. I would like to know if there is a good gaming pc and monitor out there, that gets the gets the job done and can play most games, but also isn't to terribly expensive as far as gaming pc's go. I just need to know a PC that will play most of the mainstream games with out a bunch of lag or problems

thanx.
Also, Comparing to the PC my friend has that i really like, it needs to have these Specs:
A CPU and a GPU
a GPU gtx 660 or better
and a CPU i5 2500k

Much appreciated..

Answer
go onto newegg, grab a barebones pc. those usually come with motherboard, cpu, psu, case, sometimes video card. if not, buy a vid card. you will also need a hard drive and ram (make sure to check compatability, newegg usually suggests it) as for monitors, i have never actually bought one. i use lcd tv's. nowadays you can get a 32" vizio for about $250 whereas you'd pay that much for a 20" computer monitor. also check craigslist. but be wary, there really is no inexpensive gaming computer. its just impossible unless you happen to get some mad deals.
heres my setup and it only cost me about $1500 minus tv's-
Case-Raidmax Tornado
MoBo-Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
Ram-G-Skill 8Gb DDR3 2000
CPU- AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2 Gb
PSU- $20 Logisys 500 watt (idk how its lasted 2 years haha)
Hard Drive- Hitachi 1Tb
Solid State Drive- Corsair Force 3 60 Gb (for O.S)
Video Card- HIS ATI Radeon 4800 series.
My only downfall is the vid card, but hey, from off to windows 7 fully loaded and cpu at idle is only 50 seconds lol.

[Edit] when bulding a pc, go with AMD, cheaper and still performs as well as Intel. Intel will break your wallet easy.

A good gaming monitor for someone on a budget?

Carson

I need a gaming monitor and I have found an excellent 'BenQ' monitor. However, it was out of my budget, around $300. My desk isn't the biggest so it would be nice if it is smaller. The price range im hoping to get one for is around $150, if they have a decent gaming one for that price. Thank you!

Answer
I use Sony Playstation 3D display. I play PS3 and my pc games on it all the time. It's also good for watching movies. It also works with Cable TV. It comes with 3D glasses and a ps3 game. Not sure if that's what you're looking for. It's a 24" display with full HD and I think that the price is around 200 or so. I got it last year on a sale for 100 and I like it. If you don't have a ps3, you could sell the game and glasses. Hope I helped

If i connect my laptop to an HD monitor will my pc games run better?

Panama

My computer is mediocre, 4gb DDR, AMD Vision Premium, 4.5 Windows rating, but I like to play pc games. I generally connect my laptop to my 22inch HD monitor, will connecting help my pc games run better? For example crysis plays slow and it really doesnt look good at all.., If i hook it up will it improve?

Answer
They might look better but they will not run better. Your computer runs the games. That is where your problem is at. Games can require better processors an better graphics ability. You may need one or both

How do I make Nvidia 8800GTS show two different things on my dual monitors?

SIREAL KIL

I was wondering like being able to playing PC games on one monitor and browsing web on other. I have an Nvidia 8800GTS with 2 monitors connected. Please help.

Answer
Its fairly easy but games are the hardest to dual monitor why? Because often the game resizes one screen thus your mouse becomes trapped on one monitor and if it does get to the other monitor it often cannot come back properly and there are other problems. But if the game is window based and or does not resize the screen then its more possible. But what you want to do to get dual monitors is to go to the desktop , right click and go to properties , go to the settings tab , then you should see two rectangles or boxes or one of each representing your monitors. Click on the one thats not active then down below somewhere check the box that says extend desktop onto this monitor.

If the two monitors do not show up under the settings tab you will probably need to check your connections and or restart the PC. Possible you may even need to change or set up some setting with your geforce program. But I do not know how to do that without being there and doing it myself.

What is the best monitor on the market for FPS gaming?

best pc gaming monitor
on ... best hacker, best cracker, best programs, booters, boot progs, boot
best pc gaming monitor image

Parker

I am looking for a new monitor for my PC Gaming rig. I only play FPS games.

What is "THE BEST" monitor on the market at the moment for gaming that will deliver the maximum frame rate? (My computer can play games over 100fps, but I just need a monitor that can deliver more than 60fps for me to enjoy it to the max)

Anyone know of the best?

Answer
welll.. define "The Best"

by my standards (and your not gonna like this) the BEST display would be:
NEC PA301W 30" IPS 2560x1600 monitor. for the best experiences you'l need 3 of them.
99% perfect color reproduction
excellent contract
14 bit 3D color dictionary (some 1.3 billion colors)
it supports 3D display
industry standard for graphics, video, and game designers.
its um, $2300 each, and 3 of them would be... $6900. and since its obviously extremely valuable, shipping would be like $400 ($200 to ship + $200 in insurance)

you'll need dual-link DVI -out or you'll have trouble enjoying this top-quality monitor.
this is as close as you can get to an Apple computer's display, which is the best there is.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/4196/nec-pa301w-review-the-baddest-30-inch-display

MaximumPC's Dream Machine 2011 utilized 3 of the best monitors in the world.
http://www.maximumpc.com/article/features/dream_machine_2011_how_we_created_best_pc_ever
they also had three nVidia GTX 580's to back i up, I seriously doubt anything less can actually handle so many pixels. at 4800x2560 most graphics cards will be struggling to produce even 5 FPS.

How can I get a Gaming PC an Monitor for affordable price?

Nick G

I want a gaming pc an monitor for a reasonable price. I want it to pe able to play my games like Call of Duty 1 and 4. I also play many other games but my laptop can't handle all this. Please answer me.

Answer
I would recommend building your own. Wait for great deals and after a while you will have a pretty good system. I did it.

Cost about $550 and 3 months of deal finding

3.2GHz Pentium 4
3 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9600GT -really good budget video card
DVD burner with lightscribe
Blue CCFL front
Wireless keyboard and mouse
1920x1200 monitor

I don't do much gaming but I do play Fallout 3 with the video settings between high and ultra
