Answer
Ypu should wait until 2014. The iMac will be way better then.

PC is great for playing with games, so for games, buy a PC tower.

All PCs are way below iMac in certain specs....
-- Firewire 800.
-- Thunderbolt.
-- EFI firmware.
-- Higher pixel density screen.
-- Aluminum uni-body case.
-- Ability to run OS X apps (GarageBand, iMovie, iPhoto, PhotoBooth, etc.) with no goofy hack.

All of these hardware specs cost money. That's what's missing from a PC, and that's why Apple is more expensive. If these specs are all useless to you, buy a PC.

@SimSam:
Can you read? I didn't say spend all your money to do anything. I listed the hardware spec advantages of Apple's system.

How to Play Final Fantasy 7 (2012 PC re-released) Full Screen?

Michael th

The options for full screen is in the settings, but there are huge 3.5" black borders on the sides.
The only configuration I found was called Lang, no full screen option in there.

Answer
hmm ... see for the file with the name "config .cfg" you can find it in the game Dir or in the Document where the save game files exist or in the windows registry files...
open it into a notepad and look for the option full screen. it should be 0 value change it to 1 and then save and close.
now start the game.

Answer
Above and beyond all else: Diablo 3. Why? If you have to ask ..... take a look:

I am also really looking forward to XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It's a remake of one of my favorite games. And from the trailers and screen shots so far it looks like they are remaining true to the original.

Not that FPS spin-off prequel, blandly titled XCOM, that got delayed. Although it has me curious too. But not as much.

How is the ps3 or 360 able to play current games?

Adrian

I don't get it .ps3 ram is less than 1 gb and video card is over 6 years old and it can run skyrim, battlefield 3, crisis 3 and gta 4 just fine while some computer geeks say that you need the latest video cards, more ram and latest processors on your pc to be able to run those games. I need to get a cheap computer or laptop(preferably laptop) that will be able to run those games just as much as my ps3 or better. My big brother ordered a Mac mini 2012 for the family and it's going to arrive in about a week so I was wondering if it can run better than my ps3 slim so I don't have to waste money

-4gb memory
-Intel hd graphics 4000
-dual core intel core i5 2.5ghz

Answer
The console versions of modern games are running at lower settings across the board for playable frame rates:

Lower resolution, shorter draw distance, less/no anti-aliasing, lower resolution textures and frequently fewer objects on screen at once.

If you compare the Xbox 360 version of Skyrim to the same game running on a decent PC, for example, the difference is very noticeable.

You are better off sticking with the PS3. The Intel HD family is only meant for day-to-day computing. They are weak at best for running games. Despite their age the PS3 and 360 are both still designed to play games.
