Samsung PX2370 or ASUS ML238H for a gaming monitor?

Broseph Ba

Building my own gaming PC, wondering which one is better.

Answer
A close call, but the ASUS wins on a few points... It has a higher constrast ratio it has been reviewed are more ergonomic and reliable and it hasn't had complaints about the screen brightness either...

Apart from this both monitors are the same on many points, both full HD 23" monitors with dvi and hdmi input... But I would go for the ASUS, apparently more for your money

Best gaming monitor from ASUS?

michael h

getting a monitor this black friday, wondering what monitor from ASUS is best for gaming.

Answer
Looks like the best monitor from Asus right now is the VK278Q. However, if you want a really serious monitor, I'd get the Dell UltraSharp U3011. Failing that, look for a monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1600.

I am going off to college and want a gaming monitor for my Xbox on my desk. I do not want anything too expensive ($180 or less preferably) and I do not need anything big (24 inches is fine). I just want to be able to easily hook up my Xbox to play. I also would prefer the ability to hook my Macbook Pro up to it so my roommate and I could watch movies without a DVD player. It would just be nice to see my laptop screen on the monitor. What are some suggestions? Thanks!

Answer
At that prize its extremely hard to find for yout preferences . If you want to hook it up in your Xbox you need HDMI port and VGA . Also monitors which are compatible with Macbooks are more expensive than reqular gaming monitors , so this is what i suggest . Hope this helps ;) ! ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 (ASCR 12000 : 1) Built in Speakers

What monitor/tv should I get for ps3 gaming?

rsjsaywhsa

I need a monitor/tv for gaming. It has to be 26"+... I feel that 23 is too small. This will be a desk gaming monitor/tv. It has to be under 200. It will MOST be used almost everyday for ps3 gaming(mw3). I was gonna get the asus 23 inch Vh236h lcd monitor. It was the 2011 official gaming monitor. But I feel I want something a little bigger. Please help. Big thanks.

Answer
Monitor 24"-31" I'd recommend a Dell. TV 32" and up I'd recommend a LG LED set like the LM5800 or LM6200.

I've tried diff cables and everything , any Ideas what I can do ? I'm pretty good with computers and stuff but not sure on this one ?

Answer
take a magnet and run it along the monitor, you might be experiencing degaussing.

What Razer gaming keyboard and mouse should I get?

Nathan

I recently got an epic Alienware gaming desktop and Asus monitor. I got the standard keyboard and mouse for Alienware but I'm going to get a Razer gaming keyboard, mouse, and mouse pad. I know what mouse pad I'm going to get but I need some tips or advice on which keyboard and mouse I should get. I was kind of thinking about the Black Widow, not the dumb touchscreen one. I don't know what mouse to get though. Not something really expensive though. Thanks.

Answer
Ok, to solve your question, razer is generally reputed to be overpriced. The best mouse that Razer makes is the DeathAdder. As for the keyboard, if you're fine with mechanical keyboards, i reccommend the BlackWidow.

Hope I helped.
