when I switch on warcraft 3, the monitor will turn to black screen and it will take few seconds and sometimes a minute to turn back to normal screen. I needed to turn it on and off several times. help please? how can I fix this? is it normal? I think it's about the temperature of the monitor.

The flickering noticed is due to the change in Screen resolution. You can fix that in two ways.
1) Make your deskop screen resolution match with your game resoultion.

You configure your Desktop Screen Resolution to match with your Game Resolution. If you are using XP right click on your desktop and look check for screen resolution options.

2) Make your game resolution match with your desktop screen resolution.

Configure your game screen resolution options to match your desktop screen resolution. This can be done by the options in your game.

In conclusion, changing resolution or playing games dosen't have anything to do with temperature. Your monitor being temeperate is normal (expecially for CRT monitors).

I've been doing some research and the asus ms328h and asus vw246h have gotten the best reviews. I was wondering what people thought about these two monitors and if there are any others that I overlooked. I'm looking for a 1080p monitor that is at least 23 inches. I would mainly just play halo on it.

If you wait you can get it at woot.com for $205. It's 25". I have the debranded (cheaper) version.

I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out. Is there any way possible to make my laptop screen be a monitor for my desktop. I have a HP mini 110 (Laptop) it is awful to play games on it. I also have a Dell Desktop that is very suitable for gaming, but the Original monitor is being used for my xbox 360. Is there a way to make my laptop screen a monitor for my dell desktop? And how? No, laptops do not have video inputs, only video outputs. It can actually be done but it would involve disassembling the laptop and removing the LCD and inverter and using a bit of electrical engineering to modify a VGA cable to work with the inverter.

Check out that link, There aren't any "gaming monitors", the most you can do is look for the best quality monitor and a size and resolution your PC can handle. I assume you'll be using this for a PC...even then, you can just hook up a PC to your HDTV if it's supported. I'd shoot for that HP 2509m or LG W2486L.

Okay, so I have an HP Elite 570T Desktop computer with dual 23" HD monitors. I'm looking to up my frames and enhance my graphics on Planetside 2 and other games. What should I invest in primarily, given my current specs?

Model: HPE-570T
Harddisk Drive: 1.5TB 7200RPM (I'm assuming if I purchased a solid state drive I'd be in better luck)
Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.4GHz
Memory: 9GB DDR3
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit
Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce GT 440 3GB
Primary Monitor: HP 2310 Series Wide LED LCD Monitor 1080p
Secondary Monitor: Samsung PX2370 LED LCD Monitor 1080p

Once again I'm looking for enhanced graphics and better fps.

Get a faster Graphics card. The GT 440 is pretty slow compared to other cards out there.

However the problem is that your computer's power supply is only 300W. This limits what you can upgrade to. You should upgrade to a ~600W powersupply, and then get yourself a GTX 660 Ti, if space is an issue, Zotac makes a short form factor version.

What's a good gaming computer to record CoD and Minecraft?

Im planning on selling my xbox and mac to get a gaming computer. Ill probably have about 1000 dollars to spend on it. I want to record call of duty and minecraft with fraps (or something else you would recommend) and start up a youtube thing, nothing big, just for fun. I want to switch from console to pc gaming. Any help with this would be unimagionably appreciated :) thanks guys!

Alien Ware would be the best, they are pretty good prices for what you are getting, $1000 is plenty for getting a good gaming computer. I have an HP Pavillion that was $850. It has a 3.4ghz AMD quad core processor. 2 TB hard drive. 8GB RAM. That was with a monitor, keyboard and mouse. The monitor is 23''.
It is great for me. I can play minecraft with no problem. Most games will be able to run on it. And I have enough room to keep all my youtube videos as a backup.

yes, i have it, look on bestbuy, i play mine on a 22-inch CRD monitor though, im pretty sure it will connect to a laptop, check out bestbuy.com and look in xbox 360 accessories
