I've been looking for a good gaming monitor on a budget. Any ideas?

Steven Lee

Specifically speaking, I want them to look good for both games and documents. Because I hear that sometimes good gaming monitors have trouble displaying text right. Anyways my budget is 350, so it can be up to that but not above. Unless the ones above are really worth the extra money. I'd appreciate any help guys.

Earlier this year Consumer Reports reviewed LCD monitors like they do every year. In the 22" Wide Screen and larger category the winner was the Acer P221w. I had bought that same monitor the month before and I totally agree with Consumer Reports. Excellent display quality both in and out of games.

For $350 you could probably find some 24" or even 26" monitor but they will not be as good as far as quality. 22" is still very large and you'll appreciate the better picture.

Recommend a PC gaming monitor?

I'm looking for a new high quality monitor for gaming mainly with the PC and occasional Xbox usage. I'm not sure what the best models are so I need some help. I do have a couple of things in mind though:
Around the 26" mark in size.
16:9 aspect ratio/ 1 to 1 Pixel Mapping
Ability to display full 1080p HD.
Generally favored by gamers.

Thanks in advance and I hope you guys can help. :)

On a good budget, I would recommend the Asus vw246h. It is honestly a GREAT quality, and excellent for the price! I wrote a review on it on my blog, you are welcome to take a look at, I also offer a good discount as well.

Cheers,

Steve

I need a gaming monitor and I have found an excellent 'BenQ' monitor. However, it was out of my budget, around $300. My desk isn't the biggest so it would be nice if it is smaller. The price range im hoping to get one for is around $150, if they have a decent gaming one for that price. Thank you!

I use Sony Playstation 3D display. I play PS3 and my pc games on it all the time. It's also good for watching movies. It also works with Cable TV. It comes with 3D glasses and a ps3 game. Not sure if that's what you're looking for. It's a 24" display with full HD and I think that the price is around 200 or so. I got it last year on a sale for 100 and I like it. If you don't have a ps3, you could sell the game and glasses. Hope I helped

What's the best gaming monitor my budget is 200$?

I want a gaming monitor for my PS3 my TV is shitty.
Want it as fast as possible at least 2ms.

Answer
You don't need 2ms. 2ms would mean you need 500 frames per second to really utilize 2ms. 5ms is good.

I would get this one because it's so cheap right now and it's a good monitor:

Use PROMOCODE : VALPAK10 to save $10 which makes this $99.

This is a good one too:
