I'm getting a like-new 21" Dell P1130 CRT monitor for gaming. I'd like to know what resolutions will support 100+ Hz vertical refresh rates.

Hey guys, my friend told me to change my screen refresh rate from 60->76GHz because it will enhance the smoothness of my gaming experience( which it did ). But will it damage my computer? The only option for the screen refresh rate were 60 and 75. How do i know how much my computer can handle?

Answer
It is not what your computer can handle. It is what your monitor can handle. Check with the manual or website for your monitors maker.

I am looking to buy a monitor that has at least 100hz refresh rate (for 3d glasses). I am finding it hard to even find that stat on most monitors on the shopping websites. What is a good place to look? Do you know of any monitors that meet that requirement?

Thank You

I am looking for a new gaming monitor and the specs i wanted were 2ms respons time, 120hz and a few other minor things. Yesterday i found a monitor that met all of them exept it was only 76hz. I am going to be playing games lime minecraft and possibly batlefield 4, do you think that 76hz is enough?

Answer
Yeah even 60 hz is enough. And it's mine craft you don't need a high hz, but with battle field 76 should be fine.
