I have a budget of $200 and I am looking for a decent but cheap 22 inch computer monitor under $200.
I will use it mostly for gaming. Thank you for your suggestions.

Answer
Go to Goodwill or Salvation Army store or any store like that, they usually have a lot of monitors and you can check them out before you buy them. Probably around $20.00. If it's just for gaming, you don't need a new one.

What monitor/tv should I get for ps3 gaming?

I need a monitor/tv for gaming. It has to be 26"+... I feel that 23 is too small. This will be a desk gaming monitor/tv. It has to be under 200. It will MOST be used almost everyday for ps3 gaming(mw3). I was gonna get the asus 23 inch Vh236h lcd monitor. It was the 2011 official gaming monitor. But I feel I want something a little bigger. Please help. Big thanks.

Answer
Monitor 24"-31" I'd recommend a Dell. TV 32" and up I'd recommend a LG LED set like the LM5800 or LM6200.

Is there even a noticable difference when gaming on a 1920x1200 rez moniter rather than a 1920x1080 rez?

Q. I can't decide which moniter to get for my gaming rig, so i'm wondering is there really a huge difference between the quality and performance between these two when gaming? I know the 1920x1200 is considerably more expensive so i'm trying to figure out if it's really worth the price.

Answer
I'm wondering the same thing. Most 24" 1920x1200 monitors I find are around $260, while 1920x1080 monitors are easily under $200. 2.3 megapixels vs 2.0 megapixels. How does an additional .3 megapixels cost $80 more!?

EDIT: Looked up some prices and some reviews, and decided that 1920x1080 is better value. 1920x1200 is nicer, but it's geared more towards photo and video editors (hence the high price tags). Higher end IPS 1920x1200 monitors will be alot more expensive, and lower end 1920x1200 screens will be about the same quality.

What Monitor would be the great for Video Games?

Jonay

I was thinking ethier a 17'' or 19'' Monitor that is under 200 dollars.

Answer
Well, I'm going to keep your price and needs in mind for this one.

You want an LCD; their easier on the eyes, use less power, and use less space. You want to get one with good brightness (at least 300 cmd/m2) and a response time that is 8ms or less. Otherwise, you get "ghosting", which is blur from cheaper LCD's. You'll want one with DVI; it's much clearer than VGA. Make sure that your video card has it (white plug); otherwise, just use the VGA (blue).

My recommendation? It isn't $200, but it's close enough and the quality is worth it:

What is the best gaming monitor 200 dollars or under?

I've been doing some research and the asus ms328h and asus vw246h have gotten the best reviews. I was wondering what people thought about these two monitors and if there are any others that I overlooked. I'm looking for a 1080p monitor that is at least 23 inches. I would mainly just play halo on it.

Answer
I use my HP 2509m to play PC and 360.

If you wait you can get it at woot.com for $205. It's 25". I have the debranded (cheaper) version.
