Can someone configure me a good gaming PC?

I want to get into PC gaming, and I will be building it myself. This is my first time, so I don't want to make the wrong decisions, or pick things that can't work with other parts. My budget is $550, and I don't need a monitor, mouse, or keyboard. Can you guys build me the best PC I can get with this price?

You need to change currency from INR to $ though, but you can get the exact specifications.

If you are not including monitor in that budget, than tweak it from 460 to GTX 560 graphic card.

How to prevent my computer from shutting down while playing games?

So my computer shuts down everytime I try to play a game. (NFS:U2 to be exact..) I think it fits snugly into the games minimum requirements, and it has three cooling fans (one on the side, one on the mainboard, one underneath the video card.) I downloaded Razer Game Booster and did everything on its tips; tweaking my PC, killing almost every processes in game mode and such. But I can't still play the game over even an hour. Help on how to resolve this?

I just monitored its temperatures..
CPU: 33-39 C
Mainboard: 33-34 C
Video Card: 66-70 C
Hard Disk: 33-41 C
The maximum temperatures recorded are before and during the game.
The minimum was after it restarted.

Do I need to replace a part or are my parts still okay?
If so, please recommend me a reliable one.. Thanks

Check the fan of your GPU, it might be faulty already. I once owned a 9600GT, faulty fan also made it overheat....

solution, you could put fresh thermal paste, then attach an 80mm fan that is blowing air towards the card, the fan should be running at full speed all the time, just connect it to the psu 4 pin molex.

BTW, adding more ram would be necessary for your build since 1 gb RAM is insufficient IMHO...

What Kind of Gaming Computer Should I get?

Basically I Want to get a gaming Computer that can play all the games now with no lag on high setting high FPS, and play future games to come out!! I was wondering how much it would cost and what components i need becasue i am new to PC gaming and i want to get into it!!

Components are:
Psu:power supply unit
CPU:I7-2600k
K means its easy to over clock.
Gpu; amd or nvidia.
Solid state drive (preferred) and probably a 1 tb western digital hard drive.
Motherboard; if you go for that I7-2600k then avoid the 2011 sockets but if you want a beefy system the you should go for the i7-3930k with a asus sabertooth x79 and you should go for a full tower. And you should get 8 gigs of ddr3 ram but max you should ever use is 16 gigs+ keyboard, headset, monitor and mouse

- used stock cpu cooler , since I am not overclocking, and choose non K cpu version, for virtualization advantages in case i want windows xp mode to run older programs. ran intel processor diagnostic tool and everything passed including memory. ran win 7 memory test ok also.
- motherboard came with F3 BIOS with screen shifted to the left blocking letters, downloaded F9 BIOS and used Q-flash in BIOS to update it, so ok now. flashing is way easier than it used to be.
- set BIOS to AHCI, created partition and let windows 7 pro 64 bit format SSD to NTFS.
- used sata 3 port 0 lower for SSD and upper port 1 for my WD hard drive.
- system is quiet and boots fast. everything is snappy including internet browsing. I had like 10 browser windows open and system showed 6Gb in use ?? good thing i got hooked up with 32Gb and explains why my old laptop can not surf the internet anymore with long lags/delays/page loads.
- I needed more than 6 usb ports, so ordered this "Biostar CABLEUSB3.0 USB 3.0 Cable Bracket". also ordered some usb 2.0 card slot bracket adapters, cheap but the bracket was to big, had to hacksaw it to fit the rear panel slot. did not realize they made 2 different sizes.
- no compatibility problems encountered, mouse/keyboard/printer/power supply all worked. i'm running my mouse and keyboard off the usb2.0 motherboard connectors to a four port card slot adapter bracket in the rear. they did work in the rear motherboard usb ports also.
- I can run morrowind off the onboard graphics no problem.
- verified TRIM enable, turned off system restore, indexing, prefetch/superfetch etc. etc. Now will wait and see how the SSD lasts/performs, since it is my first.
- my new system makes my midi keyboard sound really good, using pianissimo VSTi and reaper as my DAW. My old AMD system was 5-6yrs old.
- has a pci slot which i used for my firewire card.
- stayed away from 2011 socket boards, seems like alot of problems.
- my cheap GTX 460 sonic 1024M GDDR5 256bit dual DVI w/HDMI can run all my games, skyrim full resolution. but this is the most important computer part for gaming, I just have not needed to upgrade yet.
- can't wait to get a usb3.0 or thunderbolt external harddrive to speed things up.
- weak SSD documentation, download the intel SSD toolbox program from the intel website. it will list lifetime left, and do a check on the SSD.
- could not get easytune6 to install.
- set memory profile in BIOS to XMP to get 1600 timing.
