what is the best way to watch tv on the computer?

my husband and i both want to watch football this fall but we have opposing teams and we want to watch one game on tv and the other on the computer monitor. any suggestions?

You could get a TV tuner card for your PC. That would allow the PC to work like a TV. Also, many TV tuner cards come with DVR software so you could record programs on your PC's hard drive.

How come when i start my computer the monitor is always bright?

Whenever i log in to my computer the monitor gets really bright. When I'm playing one of my games it turns the monitor bright, but it changes back when I exit. I have Vista and a Dell SP2009 20" LCD monitor. Before I installed the game it didn't do this. Any suggestions?
