Im building my own gaming computer hopefully soon and I was just wondering what video card you guys suggest. I need something that would look really good playing Battlefield 3 and other games with high graphics. Im learning a lot about computers still I'm new to it, Ive asked a lot of questions about building a computer on here. I just want to be sure about everything before I buy anything, Thanks!

Answer
Just buy a high-end card of either AMD or nVIDIA, with GDDR5 ram, DX11 supported, at least 800Ghz of GPU, and a good 2000RPM max fan. Usually stock fans for graphic cards are terrible, picking up a 40-50$ buck fan is worth it. Scythe along with Arctic Cooling have very good fans. I'd recommend dual gpu cards over SLI or Crossfire. I'm an AMD fan when it comes to processors but nVIDIA has better drivers than AMD when it comes to graphic cards. Also, when looking at video cards from nVIDIA their high end cards, if I'm remembering right, start with GTX. For both of them the higher the card number the higher it is in the series. And lastly, this is a benchmark for all video cards ranking them for their Price-Performance value: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_value.html
The rankings of that benchmark are fairly good considering they ranked Radeon HD 6670, third, which is believed to be the graphic card of the Xbox 720. Considering the Xbox 720 has the best performance for price mindset, the rankings make sense.
