Whats better value for money? Gaming PC?

Ross

Whats better value for money?

I like the sound of the Arbico Intel 4157 - Wolfdale Custom Built Gaming System (Can be found here - http://www.arbico.co.uk/Arbico-Intel-4157-Wolfdale-Custom-Built-Gaming-System-p-.html )

Or the Acer Aspire AX3990 ( Can be found here - http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pi/223-2751672/Desktop-Computers/Acer-Aspire-AX3990-Intel-Core-i3-2100-3.1GHz-3GB-500GB-DVDRW-Win-7-Home-Premium-Product-Info )

If there's any other Desktop Computer at this price range, please tell me as i'm looking for a cheap-ish gaming Computer.

First computer has a very bad processor for gaming. RAM is OK, if you were to buy that then I would choose for the graphics card ATI HD6770. Very small hard drive.
Obviously go for the Windows 7 Home premium OS if you were going to buy this.

Second one has a better and newer processor, although the i3 is more for web surfing and multi-tasking.
Only has 3GB of RAM so that is not very good for gaming.
It has a bigger hard drive than the first one.
But the biggest let down is the Graphics, as this computer has Integrated graphics!
Integrated Graphics are most certainly not for gaming.

All in all the best value for money is the first one. But here is a real gaming PC that has ALOT better components than they do, and for only just a bit more money: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VIBOX-QC-FS-AMD-PHENOM-QUAD-CORE-ATI-HD-6450-8GB-RAM-WINDOWS-GAMING-PC-COMPUTER-/200665653719?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4267359641331116686#ht_1804wt_1139

Or you can have this one, but it doesn't have a OS installed on the computer: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VIBOX-QC-Fe-AMD-PHENOM-QUAD-CORE-ATI-HD-6450-8GB-RAM-GAMING-DESKTOP-PC-COMPUTER-/220877911006?_trksid=p5197.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26itu%3DI%252BUA%26otn%3D12%26pmod%3D200665653719%252B190596071937%252B400255909731%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4267375560797216506#ht_1804wt_1139

Hope you choose wiseley!

Change the following:
PCI-e graphics :"Overclocked ATI HD 5850"
Motherboard: Asus (with USB 3.0)
Memory: one with 1600MHz
1st Harddrive: 1000GB
Main Optical Drive: to desired.. recommended one with Bluray Writer
TFT Monitor: if you don't have a monitor, select something. Samsung 24" recommended

Select keyboard and mouse and that should be it.
