Gaming Computer from CyberPC?

I'm looking to buy a great gaming computer from CyberPC. I like how you can customize them and whatnot. But, I'm not that tech savvy. Can anyone help me configure the best possible gaming desktop with atleast 8GB and the best graphics card I can get on a budget that's no more than 1k? I plan on using this computer mostly for Sims 3 (and soon 4), Skyrim, and MMORPG's such as Guild Wars 2 and Tera. :)

First of all, its much cheaper to build your own computer, its not even that hard. Its like building Legos.

I would recommend these parts for playing any current game (as of 2013) on high settings.

CPU (processor): Any Intel i7 or i5 (i recommend intel i7 3770K)
GPU (graphics card): Any 600 series Nvidia card (i recommend gtx geforce 650 or 660)
RAM: Just go with the amount that suits you but for those games you only need 4GB
Hard Drive: Same as RAM, what ever suits you, i recommend a 1TB 7200RPM
Motherboard: What ever your want as long as it's compatible with your CPU
Power Supply: no less than 550W, make sure it is 80+ bronze

If you are only use your new computer to play LOL and Facebook, there is no need to spend 1000$.

Some computer experts say that the graphical quality of video games has reached a plateau?

Q. e.g., look how good the graphics are for a game like Crysis 2. These are rendered on hardware that was nearly outdated in 2005. You could imagine the potential of similar hardware in 2011. Or would it even make a difference?

PC graphics can continue to march forward with ever more impressive hardware optimizations, higher resolutions, better physics, etc. However consoles are going to have a much tougher time of it. Sure with this generation we saw the jump to HD, or at least 720p@30fps. However the next batch of consoles should have no problem with 1080p@60fps which is the maximum any HDTV is capable of producing. Even 3D won't be a problem for these consoles - if they decide to support it.

Really the only direction left is better physics, and better textures. However these are going to seem more like minor bumps vs. the huge leaps we've been used to. It might also mean consoles will come out less frequently - no need to upgrade as frequently.

The 360, for instance, will turn 7 later this year and while Microsoft is working on a new console we probably won't see it on shelves until 2013 at the earliest - nearly 9 years after the 360 came out.

How can I get my son (18) checked for aspergers? Is he too old for any help?

We always knew he was different, he displays some but not all of the common symptons but we just put it down to him being different and an introvert. We are getting increasingly worried because apart from the virtual world of computer games he is turning into a hermit. He doesn't have any interests apart from music no one else has ever heard of and has no social skills. Any advice please?

Is it possible make a virtual reality game like Sword Art Online (Without all the IRL death and mind control) Where you can see and feel the virtual world that's around you? It'll be the best experiences ever to people. Since games are designed so beautiful already. I just want even joy game like Sword Art Online. It'll be great.

Currently no. BUT, very soon we will be able to. If you havent heard, there is something called a Oculus Rift that takes up all your field of view and your head turns and bobs in game depending on your head movements. It is not in the point where we are hooked up to a computer but just this advancement in only 2013 is great news. I would guess that around mid-high 2030's is where we will be fully immersed :). It is possible technicly but would be too expensive to be worth it right now due to our current technology. My source should provide some info on how this is possible :). Its a great site and will answer many of your questions on the possibility of the future. Technology advances way fast so expect it early :). We could not die even if nerves transfer the pain (I think) but we certainly could go into shock and get some damage done (Like in SAO).

I have a plethora of Apple devices and have little use for them at the moment. My iPhone is currently little more than a phone, camera, and temporary note pad. My iPads and Macbook are lucky to see the daylight about twice a week. I seldom play games and am not an active social networker. I listen to music on my desktop and devote most of my computer time to watching videos, checking the news, and working.

I use it for work - paperless business meetings, Ever note for lists and schedule, e-mails and creating graphics. Picture album, to show vacation trips with friends (I do not post on Facebook.) It's also through this app where I keep my receipts and warranties. Movies during long travel. Magazine and news subscription - Time, Newsweek, Allure, etc. Google maps.

I use a separate camera for photos, but iphone and ipad are useful if I forgot to charge my cam's batt. As a music lover, Apple shuffle is an essential gadget. I use it in the gym, or when running or commuting in a train. However, I do not own an ipod.
