Just curious but, gaming computers seem the same to me, they can be less expensive than normal ones, and the processors might even be worse, but what makes it better in gaming.
Answer
Depending on the brand, price or build of the gaming computer there can be several differences. The main one being that computers designed for gaming will all have dedicated video graphic cards, which will make games run more smoothly, and increase the appearance and decrease the choppy graphics. Also the ram on most gaming computers will be higher so that it will have more memory for gaming programs to use so that it wont slow down your computer. The core processors on most gaming computers will also be greater, in turn speeding up the games, and connection.
A Good Gaming Computer should meet or exceed these requirements:
Ram- Minimum of 4GB
HDD/ SSD (Disk Drive)- 250-512 GB
Processor- Quad or above
Graphics Card - 512 MHz +

What is the best computer processor for gaming?

I am planning on getting a newer computer soon, but I have no knowledge of computer processors. I see all these AMD Athalon and Intel Core Duos and such. Which is the best for gaming?
Also, does the amount of GHz matter? like is 3.0 GHz better than 3.2 GHz?
Answer
The Intel Core i5-750 gives the best gaming performance for any CPU in the under-$200 price range.
However, gaming performance is not just about the CPU. The video card is equally important (or more important). So, if you're on a tight budget, it would often be better to use a AMD Phenom II X4 instead, if that allows you to spend $60 or $70 more on the video card.
Intel Core i5-750 (Lynnfield 2.66GHz), $195,

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition (Deneb 3.2GHz, C3 revision), $160,
