Who/what company enters data into the software that drives the mlb.com game day system?

Several on line sports site have 'live game stats' and play by play action. I'd love having a job like that entering data while watching a game - anyone know what company does that or is it a home team responsibility?

MLB has a thing about not divulging their sot-ware vendors.so your guess is as good as any ones.

I have been running a server on my computer for about a year or more now, from Bukkit. It puts a lot of stress on my computer, and its a gaming computer so I don't want to ruin it. I want my server to be public so at least 100 slots, no lag and 24/7. Although I doubt there is, is there any free hosting companies like tree puncher? Thanks

they wouldn't be a company for very long if they gave it out for free.
Especially if treepuncher's stats are correct in that 100 slots would need ~7gigs of ram depending on what mods you run.
The problem is that treepuncher charges $150-$200 depending on the mod, and you could get that for much cheaper.
$65/month to rent your own 8core 8gig ram server with 100mbit and 500gig drive. So they are charging $85/month for service alone (on the low end).

So there are better alternatives than the guys fleecing the stupid, but if someone gave that for free they'd be losing $65 a month.
