gaming monitor 1080p image
Tom Harper
Im getting a new computer soon and need a nice monitor to go with it. Id like a 1080p monitor thatd be good for playing computer games (dayz, lol, cod, etc.). I also watch a lot of movies so i didnt know if theres a difference between good gaming monitors and good movie monitors. Im kinda on a budget too so im looking at one like this for around $100-150 if thats possible. Thanks.

The VS238H-P should be $138 with shipping if you consider the $20 mail rebate. If you just want o pay less than the $150 then just go with the VS229H-P. I don't think there are better 1080p monitors within your price range.

My widescreen monitor is broken it flashes when I try to use it, can anyone help?
ShadowRave
It's a gateway monitor widescreen 1080p HD resolution 18 inches. I belive it's broken because I play a lot of video games and I switch resolutions a lot. Now when I try to use it it flashes grey/white and shows no image, every now and then it will work but if I turn it off it's a mystery if it will turn on the next time.
Answer
Make sure all of your connections are properly plugged in, and make sure it's being given enough power (basically saying, check the power cord connections).
If it's under warranty, send it in.
Switching resolutions and playing games shouldn't hurt a monitor, by the way.
