What is the cheapest, yet quality way to connect my satellite/cable to my PC and/or PC Monitor?

I have DishNetwork but my TV is on the fritz and currently can't afford to replace it and I was wondering if there was any way to connect it directly to my PC or simply my PC monitor without spending more then it would to replace my TV?

I just bought a PACKARD BELL iMedia S 2870 (Intel® Core⢠i3-3220 processor, Windows 8, Memory 4 GB,Hard 500 GB)

It has Intel® HD Graphics but i would like to buy a video card to play games and i dont know if the case is big enough for the latest cards...

Any GPU as long as it can fit inside your casing nicely and also as long as the PSU can support your new GPU.
