I have a budget of $4000.00 for the computer and a good monitor. What gaming computer is best within that price range. I have built computers in the past but I don't have tome to do that so I'll have to stick with a pre-fabricated one.

I'm sure you know you can get a much better PC if you build it yourself, but I understand why you want a prebuilt.

12Gb of ram
1 TB 5200 RPM hardrive
Gateway Motherboard
USB 2.0
I want to know the cheapest way of turning this to a good gaming computer. Budget is 400 dollars of parts.
I want to replace the processor and graphics.

get an 140$ AMD FX processor,
new 60$ new AMD motherboard,
200$ graphic card, AMD probably and there you go
