whats the difference in playing ps3 games or wacthing movies on a led full hd 24" tv and a
led hd monitor 24" ?
Answer
I used to play PS3 on my Gateway 24". Later I bought a 40" inch samsung 240hz with 1080p. There is a slight different in quality of color on the TV, since its not as good as the monitor. The TV overall makes a larger, sharper, smoother picture than the monitor, but the monitor has the upperhand when it comes to color, brightness consistency, and details. PC monitors will usually have a better display panel vs a TV. So if they were to make the Gateway PC monitor into a 40" display, the cost would easily be 2-3x's the cost of the TV.

What's the best cheap computer on the market right now?

I'm looking to get a new computer soon, but I don't have much money. I know next to nothing about the technical specs. Gigabytes and megahertz are foreign terms, haha.
I need something that just does the basics: internet, iTunes, etc. The most demanding capability would be the ability to play games on it, namely the new Sim City game that comes out soon. Always loved it growing up, and the new one looks amazing. I tried to look at the requirements, but it was only specified for Mac. It requires something called Snow Leopard and a Core 2 processor. Greek to me, haha. But i'm not sure if that goes for PC as well, I think Snow Leopard is just a Mac thing maybe?
I'd prefer to avoid Mac. I'm used to PC, and I feel like Mac is more trendy than it is superior, and trendy equals pricey. Plus, all my music is in PC format already. I've seen that Lenovo and Acer are cheap, but I know you usually get what you pay for. I'm not picky about laptops vs desktops. I suppose I'd prefer laptop, but price and gaming capability are the top priorities...usually I just use my TV as a monitor anyway. Really trying to spend less than $500 or $600, but if one of the $300 models suffices, that's optimal.
So what would you suggest? I have an external hard drive, so storage space isn't an issue, I just need enough speed or space (or whatever the necessary property) to play games if I want and surf the web at a decent clip. I'll probably invest in a good one in a couple more years, so it doesn't need to last forever.
Thanks for the advice!

In my opinion, the computer you are going to buy should be from the corporation Apple or HP or Dell or Acer or any other better resource. You just need to see specifications including storage space of hard disk (above 500gb), RAM and processor.
