Good PS3 Games? And other questions.?

I'm getting a PS3 this month, I'm probably going to get the Black Ops Bundle if they still have them for sale. I love Black Ops, I have a copy for my wii, I'm a big fan of any genre. What are some good games for PS3? And which are good to get to play online with? I was thinking of getting Portal 2, RDR and some others, it really doesn't matter what kind of game 'cause I like them all xD Also is 160 GB big enough to hold game data + DLC + 50 or less songs? I'm not planning to movies or download full games, only thing I'll want to put on my PS3 are the game data and whatever DLC I buy and a few songs maybe, how many games can it hold? Also should I get a gaming headset? I was looking at the P11, it has some good reviews. And should I get a stand? Which way is best to have the PS3, horizontal or vertical? I have carpet flooring so idk if it'll block the vents or something D: Also feel free to give me any other info a new PS3 gamer should know, thank you :D
Also one more questions, should I get a surge protector? I've gotten power surges a few times and it makes my wii not go on for a day or so, not sure if it would fry my PS3 or something D:

Well my favorite game for PS3 is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It's a very, very good third person shooter/adventure game which is a PS3 exclusive. Also Assassins Creed 2 & Brotherhood are epic conspiracy games. AC1 is a bit repetitive though, but if you want to understand the story I suggest you play it first. Also Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a very good first person shooter as an alternative to COD. And one more game I would recommend is GTA IV, one of the best games I have ever played.

Get a gaming headset if you plan on playing online. In games like COD, Battlefield and really any other first person shooters it can often be handy having a mic. I have previously owned the Turtle Beach Ear Force P11 and had no problems over the two years I used it. It is really lightweight and rugged and the sound quality is top notch for a average priced mic. It also features bass boost, independent volume controls and mic monitor, which allows you to hear what you say into your mic.

I have a 120gb Slim PS3 and I think it is great. 120gb should be enough to hold what you have mentioned. It depends on how much space each game takes up if you are wondering how many will fit on the hard drive. I wouldn't bother with a stand though, I think the PS3 runs better in it's original horizontal position. And as for a surge protector, if you have had problems in the past I would recommend one because power surges can stuff up your PS3 big time. Hope I helped :D

I recommend the Samsung Monitors. They are way better than the other brands. Lasts long and the view is awesome. Don't go for others. If you want go for Sony... These are brands that are worth your hard earned money...
