Q. How much does it cost to build a decent gaming computer? Someone told me they bought all their parts for only around 600 dollars. Is that true? 600 dollars seems too good to be true. Is it true that building your own gaming computer is much cheaper?

I'm building a PC and i have a 600 dollar budget if at all possible. I have a 32" TV i will be hooking it up to so no monitor is needed. It will be a gaming computer so I'm mostly worried and graphics card and CPU. pleased help people. And maybe links to great deals would be VERY much appreciated!

you MUST go to microcenter. talk to one of the employee's and you will be set. they will work with your budget for the the best possible computer at that amount. trust me, 800 dollars got

I5 2500K processor - its quad 3.3ghz - supposedly best for gaming.
8GB of corsair DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX560 graphics card
650 Watt corsair power supply
60GB SSD - small but WAYY fasted than HDD
And i cannot remember the name of the motherboard >.<
Also a basic case... nothing sepecial

with this setup i can run BF3 with all settings maxxed and V sync on perfectly
