I want one that is stable and doesnt get to hot during gaming
i already know these stuff but im asking for a motherboard which supports am2 processor sockets with a agp video slot
Answer
This is so wrong at so many levels.
Intel makes the most stable processors
Intel makes the three fastest CPU types. Core 2 Extreme, Quad Core, and Core 2 Duo.
Core 2 Duo runs cooler than AMD processors
AGP video cards are obsolete. Get a PCI Express X16 Video slot on the motherboard.

what is the difference between video card interfaces SLI, PCI-e, and PCI-e16?
athorgarak
If you have seen my other computer related Question, you will know that I am stuck in the last generation AGP 8X. I just wondered if their is an interface difference
Thank you all for the help. For the record, I was NOT confused about PCI (which comes in three standards) and AGP and PCI-e. I just did not know the dif between PCI-e and SLI
Answer
PCI, AGP and PCI Express X16 use different slots. You can not adapt a slot to use a card made for another type of slot.
The newest and best cards use a PCI Express X16 slot. If you upgrade to a fast PCI Express X16 card you should immediately see the difference in gaming applications assuming your the rest of your computer is not outdated.

PCI Express 16x 8000 MB/s
SLI refers to installing 2 video cards and attaching a link between them to allow the two cards communicate between each other and to run faster that one card can. Almost always it is less expensive to buy a faster card that does not need to be run in SLI mode than to buy 2 cards to run in SLI mode.
SLI mode will require 2 PCI Express X16 slots. Also the games will have to be written to be able to use SLI mode if there is to be any performance gain at all.
