In your opinion what is a good gaming computer that can be customized? Also what do I put in a computer when I customize it? Like for instance what operating system, processor, graphics card, etc should I get? Or whats a good gaming computer brand?

I would say the best computer for gaming is AlienWare and the graphics card must be could because you want good graphics but you can customize what you want on their website

Could I hook up a gaming computer to a bad monitor?
I just got this brand new gaming computer. Would it be able to run on my extremely old monitor?

Older monitors take up more space and use up more electrical power than LCD's. Most CRT monitors have a 4:3 aspect ratio so it isn't within widescreen standards. Also, you will lose performance from an older monitor. The display will blur and the contrast around any words will be poor and they often flicker. Usually, a gaming computer you want lots of contrast and color.
