I want to a gaming computer built for under $1000 but not really sure what parts would be good. Im looking for something that could play games fast, have no lag, and run on high settings like something that could play crysis on high.

Build the computer yourself. It's much, much cheaper, and it's not exactly difficult. This guide tells you basically everything you need to know as well as lists tons of components to give you a rough idea of how much it'd cost. Read it well.
