I'm saving up money and I have no idea what machine to invest it into. I mainly use it for Word, Photoshop, Games (now and then), and Browsing the internet. Pc or Mac, any will be fine. It doesn't need to be a high end gaming computer either.

I suggest a Macbook or Macbook Pro. On ebay you can get one in your price range. Just be careful and buy from a seller with good feedback and make sure you read every detail to be sure your getting what you want.
The reason I recommend a Macbook is because of its versatility.
With a Macbook you can have Macs OSX operating system and you can also from within the OSX operating system you can use a program called Parallels. This program allows you to also install Windows and access windows from within the OSX operating system. So not only can you run mac programs you can run windows programs also.
Other reasons I suggest a Macbook is of the below reasons
Magnetic Detachable Power cord -- If it gets yanked it comes out safely rather than breaks the power port on the side/back of the laptop
Battery life is amazing
The ventilation is on the top close to the monitor rather than the side or the bottom like some machines. This way you can actually have the laptop on your LAP and not worry about blocking the ventilation and causing your laptop to overheat and die.

I recently bought Bio Shock for pc it totally sucks though because the game is really choppy.What on my computer needs to be upgraded to fix this?I really want to play the game with good graphics. I recewntly bought a 19 inch sharp monitor for the computer so I really want to make sure I get some good gaming!
