A good gaming computer?

Bobby Thom

Would one of these two make a good gaming computer? I'm only looking to play games like WoW and LOTRO.

Buying a Gaming Computer?

Jay Garric

Hey. I'm planning to buy a computer on eBay in a few weeks, as my computer is very old and laggs terribly.

I was wondering what computer could I get where I experience not lagginess or slowless but is able to play high detailed games such as World of Warcraft and any other game as my current computer is not suitable for certain games.

Please post your comments. Thanks alot.

Basically, the most important thing is a good CPU and Graphics card. Your best bet is getting an intel core 2 duo, 2 gb ram. For graphics card, it depends what you want. You can get budget that still performs good such as the 9600gt or high performer but still good price such as the gtx 260. The intel core 2 duo E8400 is good. Get an intel motherboard as they are very stable unless you are a intense gaming nerd and want to get 2! graphics card in one machine running together in SLI. What i would do is get all the components off ebay seperately and build it if you have time and effort, with the help of google.com for research. If not, then try and find the specs that i have recommended or the similar specs from the other answers. If you cant be arsed, and you're not that tech savvy, just get a Dell as you can choose what componenets you want, get warranty, piece of mind that components havn't been somehow messed with, but at an extra cost as it costs more to build with Dell than building your own.
