How does video games, television, and computers affect your brain?

uyen_nguye

i am doing a little project on brains for my class, and i was wondering if video games, t.v, and computer shrink your brain.......
and please give me some advice on how to calm or soothe the brain

Answer
Video games definatly do not shrink the brain!!

Think about it. When you play video games you are challenging yourself with cordination problem solving. Your brain is learning and being stimulated.

However, once someone is accustomed to playing video games, their brain becomes extreamly attracted to them. Playing a video game stimulates the brain constantly and when a person stops playing video games, the brain goes through a point of withdrawl, meaning the loss of stimulation.

Playing video games is healthy for a growing brain, but just keep it in cheak and dont get to the point where you need them ...

can too many video games on the computer hurt it?

not who u

i have about 5-10 games at one point or another. can this damage my video card? especally if it cant run the game? i know my video card can but just woundering. i have about 200gb on my pc and i only was using 116 when i had about 5-10 games. so can i damage any thing haveing that much on?

Answer
It can't do any physical damage, but it can cause your computer to run slower than normal

it won't be noticeable in games, but when you try to open applications, you may find that they are taking 15-20 seconds to open instead of 3, it may be because of all the games

it wont damage your video card either, if it cant run it, it wont, it wont "try" to run it and "hurt itself"

most likely a video card will either crash the game or restart the computer if it can't run a game
