Don't know if it's in the right price range, but the BEST is the LG and Samsung monitors. Don't buy a 24" Acer or whatever they have on www.newegg.com . For the best quality, you want an LG or Samsung.

Gaming monitors are not cheap but the BenQ Gaming Monitor RL2455HM (24-Inch LED) from amazon at $179.99 is a nice one.

But the cheapest decent monitor is this asus one.
