Dell xps or alienware? wich one is good, not expensive either and also good in doing school work? if you know another brand let me know
i have a dell, not sure what kind, i guess its those gay school kind, and its not good for gaming at all, i tried to play age of empires on it that i bought, and it slows down big time, so yea i need some help guys, dont know much about computers.

The best gaming computer would be one you build yourself... if you are serious about gaming then you will learn how to build you own computer which is fairly simple... and much more cost effective. i build a full gaming rig for around 1000 bucks... you can build one for much less if you make an AMD based rig.. alien ware is owned by dell now i believe so pretty much your stuck with a very expensive xps system from dell. there are many gaming rigs you can get from mom and pop companies for much cheaper than dell... just look in pcgamer magazine. if you can... get their buyers guide special edition.... they show you how to build a very cost effective rig yourself. Furthermore, age of empires is a very weak game.. try maybe adding a graphics card to your current machine and that should boost performance 10 fold... if you are playing games a lot such as crysis and left 4 dead ( which are very graphic intensive) than build a true gaming rig... otherwise just get a new graphics card. youtube how to upgrade your graphics card and you should be set.. good luck!!
