How do I got my OpenGL to work?

I had to completely reboot my computer about 2 months ago, and I still cannot get anything like OpenGL for games like Diablo II or Minecraft or Return to Castle Wolfenstein. The Video Controller and Video Controller (VGA Compatible) are under other devices and will not update, please give me some tips on how to fix this.
My laptop is a Dell Inspiron E1505 running on XP Pro 2, I do not know what video card i have

First I would update your Xp service pack 2 to 3, Next OpenGL is a open source Linux software graphics package
